Lovely historic hotel, still in need of renovation in some areas. Basin Park is haunted - true and we had a hauntingly good time. Balcony Bar had limited menu. The in house spa Serenity Spa was wonderful and very reasonable priced. There is no parking in downtown Eureka Springs and check in was a little difficult as you could not park in front of hotel to unload your luggage. You had to find a parking spot somewhere in the vicinity and tote your luggage to the hotel. ...read more

We have stayed at the Basin Park four times, always in a different room. Each room had it's own unique 'flavor', all enjoyable! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We Love the Basin Park!

This is an old hotel. Don't be surprised that the floors are uneven, there isn't counter space in the bathroom, or enough outlets. Stay around for over 100 years & see how you look. I love old buildings, & this hotel is beautiful. It is built against a cliff, & there is a little coffee shop on the bottom floor you have to visit. Get one of their luscious scones I had cinnamon raisin, my aunt got blueberry, sit & unwind for a bit. Our room was on the 3rd floor, in front. There was more noise inside than outside, because there is little vehicle traffic - scooters, bikes, & feet are the most widely used. Our room actually had 2 rooms, plus the bath. The bedroom had the original sink in it, which was handy for 2 people to wash up, brush teeth, etc. I would stay here again, definitely. ...read more

history.
Nice hotel with lots of history and convenient location. Room was nice and comfortable. The tub was dirty, with a ring of scum. When we complained about it, it took the staff all day to clean it. Maid service never came to room except from complaint and then only fixed complaint. ...read more
